where will google go go

Ok Google folks, you picked a terrible name for "The Go Programming Language".  Why?  Becuase it is the worst possible search term there ever was!  Try searching for "go mysql", or "go" anything and you get a whole lot of useless results.  Why not just call it gopher?  You wouldn't need to change the logo or anything, and you would make poor ol' Francis McCabe's day.

I am very excited about gopher and think that it opens up vast new possibilites in the web app development world.  Becuase of it's focus on speed and simplicity, gopher has potential to go places where Rails, and Grails, and Django cannot go.  Fast places.  At this point the only thing holding gopher back is the lack of database support and a smtp package.  Mysql support is underway, so I am expecting some sort of MVC framework to crop up soon and hopefully things will take off from there.
